Promotion Rules

We sometimes run competitions, prize draws, giveaways and other promotions. These general rules apply unless a particular promotion has its own rules that say otherwise.

We'll try to make every promotion clear, fair and fun.

1. About each promotion

The information published with a promotion will explain the important details, including:

• how to enter;
• when entries open and close;
• who can enter;
• what the prize is; and
• how and when the winner will be selected.

These are the Specific Rules for that promotion.

If the Specific Rules are different from these general Promotion Rules, the Specific Rules will apply.

Entering a promotion means you agree to these Promotion Rules and any Specific Rules that apply.

2. Who can enter

Unless the Specific Rules say otherwise:

• you must be a New Zealand resident;
• you can enter once per person;
• no purchase is necessary; and
• you must provide accurate information that allows us to administer the promotion and contact you if you win.

If a promotion has an age requirement or is restricted to a particular group of people, we'll make that clear in the Specific Rules.

We may exclude an entry where we reasonably believe that the entrant isn't eligible, hasn't followed the rules, has entered fraudulently or has gained an unfair advantage.

3. Choosing a winner

We'll explain how the winner will be chosen in the Specific Rules.

Depending on the promotion, this might be a random draw, a judged competition or another clearly described method.

We'll apply the stated method fairly and consistently.

For a judged competition, the judges' decision will be based on the criteria stated for the promotion.

4. If you win

We'll contact the winner using the contact details provided with their entry.

Please make sure those details are accurate and remain active while the promotion is running.
