Sale & Return Terms

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, please talk to us and we'll help work out what to do next.

If something's wrong

Your purchase is protected by the rights and remedies available to you under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.

Our change-of-mind policy doesn't limit those rights.

If you think something you've purchased is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise not right, please contact us so we can help.

Changed your mind?

Sometimes a purchase just isn't right. For most eligible products, we're happy to offer a refund, exchange or store credit if:

  • you return it within 7 days of purchase;
  • you provide your receipt or other proof of purchase;
  • it's unused and unopened, in its original condition with its packaging, accessories and labels; and
  • it's eligible for a change-of-mind return.

Some products can't be returned just because you've changed your mind

Because of their value or the way they're ordered and supplied, some products aren't eligible for change-of-mind returns.

This includes:

  • computers;
  • iPhone and iPad;
  • Apple Watch and other wearable devices;
  • special-order or customised products;
  • opened software or products containing software licences; and
  • other products clearly identified as non-returnable before purchase.

This applies even if the product hasn't been opened.

This only applies when you've changed your mind. It doesn't affect any rights you may have if there's something wrong with the product.

If you can't get back to us within seven days, please contact us before the return period ends and we'll see how we can help.

Processing a return

Please bring your receipt or other proof of purchase.

We may ask for your contact details or other information reasonably needed to verify and process the return. This helps us protect both our customers and our business from fraudulent transactions and returns.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method where practicable.

Special orders

Some products are ordered especially for you and can't normally be cancelled or returned to our supplier once we've placed the order.

We'll let you know when an order is a special order before you commit to it. We may ask for a non-refundable deposit before placing the order.

Once we've committed a special order to our supplier, it normally can't be cancelled or returned just because you've changed your mind. The deposit may therefore be retained if you cancel after we've committed the order.

If something changes

Sometimes a supplier may change the expected delivery date, price or availability after we've placed your order.

We'll keep you informed about significant changes.

If the supplier increases the price after your order has been placed, we'll let you know before passing that increase on to you. If you don't want to accept the new price and we're able to cancel the order with our supplier, we'll cancel it and refund your deposit.

If there's a significant change to the expected delivery timeframe, we'll explain the options available. Where our supplier allows us to cancel the order and you decide not to continue, we'll cancel it and refund your deposit.

Your rights under New Zealand law aren't affected by these special-order terms.

Business purchases

If you're acquiring goods or services in trade for business purposes, we may agree with you in writing that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and any other consumer protections that New Zealand law allows businesses to contract out of, won't apply to that transaction.

We'll only rely on this where contracting out is permitted by law and it is fair and reasonable for us to do so.

Unless we've made such an agreement with you, you shouldn't assume that simply purchasing something for a business automatically excludes any rights that would otherwise apply.

Payment and ownership

You must pay for goods in accordance with the payment terms we've agreed with you.

Where we've supplied goods before receiving full payment, ownership of those goods remains with us until we've been paid in full, to the extent permitted by law.

Questions?

If you're unsure whether something can be returned, **please ask us**. We'd much rather help you understand your options than have you make a purchase you're not comfortable with.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under New Zealand law where that right or remedy can't legally be excluded or restricted.
